​​Shopper Marketing Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shopper Marketing Executiveto join a busy marketing team. The primary purpose of the role is to own the customer activation plan for Supervalu. To work across brands and develop a list of priorities. To work closely with the Commercial Planners & Business Managers to prioritise key activations and campaigns which drive the interests of the business with the customer timelines and expectations in mind. Ensuring that these expectations are a key part of our cross collaborative annual planning process.

What You will Do…

  • Help develop Annual Customer Plans

  • Develop activation plan for the year for Musgraves – collaborate with cross functional teams

  • Sell in Campaign Activation & NPD /EPD Launches

  • Trade Marketing Activation (in store campaigns/CRM)

  • POS Development – Customer

  • POS Activation – Brand & Partner Brand

  • Product Set Up - Customer

  • Event Management (minimum)

  • Partner brand & Supplier Planning – Customer Activation

  • Providing social media support

  • Brief and liaise with agencies to develop assets for in-store, online and digital

What You will Have…

  • Degree level

  • Confident self-starter able to collaborate and work across different disciplines

  • Good presentation skills

  • Previous exposure to customer events and activation

  • Highly organised and able to manage projects

  • Some experience in kit /POS/Tool development

  • Experience on working with and briefing agencies.

  • Highly organised & able to apply themselves to new activities and tasks

  • Some experience in management of sampling & events

  • Key focus of role will be to drive the execution of Supervalu trade plans. To be the expert in the Activation team of this account, build excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders and to help shape the strategy & development of activation plans.

  • Some experience in print - POS would be an advantage

  • Commercially savvy, numerate, and analytical

  • MUST have own car as calls on site
