Key Results Area
• Deliver the sales budget across all channels including warehouse and central billing
• Deliver expected loyalty targets per store
• Drive promotional sales and execution of promotional plans at store level
• Support stock pull through at store level
• Work to the agreed journey plan (including 1 day a week working from home)
• Retention of existing customer base.
Your Role
· Coach all retail partners to operate within best practice and performance excellence standards
· Ensure retail partners remain up to date on relevant legal, best practice and market information
· Deliver superior customer service
· Complete regular store visits ensuring relevant checks are carried out
· Work with suppliers at a local level, to ensure all available sales are captured via Supplier BEACON.
· Advise retailers in margin management
· Assist retailers in driving sales across the brand through store audits, standards and product range
· Implementation of Category management plans
· Ensure implementation of POS at store level
· Ensure Store standards are met through implementation of Store of the Year criteria
· Ensure stores adhere in full to brand guidelines
· Work to get retailers to the agreed standards
· Ensure store standards adhere with Health & Safety
· Assist retailers by providing support with P&L, KPI management, cost control and overheads
· Execute brand plans and guidelines
· Drive distribution targets of promotional activity as set out by our company
· Support the delivery of a healthy new business pipeline through existing contacts (i.e., existing stores)
· Lead, coach, train, and monitor retail partners to operate within best practice and performance excellence standards
· Develop and nurture strong customer service by facilitating open conversations
· Maintain high standards of discipline, attendance and regular communication with all team members attending regular team briefings
· Work in accordance with the “How We Work Together” and “One Team, One Plan” Ethos
· Build strong internal partnerships with cross functional teams
· Weekly reporting on sales figures, development plans, account activity, individual’s performance level and competitor information
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (desired) or equivalent practical experience with a strong track
record of success
• Minimum 3 years previous Account Management or Business Development
experience
• A demonstrated high-level understanding of the FMCG business environment,
preferably in the grocery sector.
• Able to work as a team member within the ethos and values of our company
• Strong customer relationship management ability.
• Results & KPI driven
• Proficient in securing back-office excellence in stores through demonstrating
professional advice in all stores.
• Effective sales and margin management experience
