Mortgage Arrears Specialist

​I am looking to speak to experienced Mortgage Arrears Specialists on behalf of my client, a leading
Asset Management company, based in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a Portfolio Management or Debt
Restructuring role. APA in Housing loans is an essential qualification for this role.
My Client is looking for someone to support the Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of debtors
and engage with them to implement debt management strategies in order to maximise recoveries.
You will be required to contact debtors via, telephone, letter and face to face in line with CCMA,
MARP, and the CPC.
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in Credit Management
• APA in Housing Loans is essential
• Collections and recoveries as part of an ASU team would be advantageous
• Strong working knowledge of CCMA, CPC and MARP
• Relevant Business Degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience drafting Executive Summaries and Recommendations in a comprehensive
manner
• Prior experience in handling cases that have involved insolvency, liquidation, receivership
and examinership.
Key Responsibilities
• Contacting customers by letter, phone or face to face
• Managing customer relationships to maximise financial return
• Develop and implement effective debt management strategies
• Handle all service queries in a timely and professional manner
• Quality and risk mitigation
• Management and responsibility of a dedicated portfolio of mortgage accounts in arrears
