​About the role
The Global Brand Development Director is responsible for setting the global brand strategy in conjunction with the VP, of Global Brand, to ensure successful execution of the corporate and
commercial strategy.
This role has responsibility and accountability for driving the 1 to 3 Global Brand plans in service of delivering the overall corporate strategy.


• Develops clear strategies that recruit new consumers into our brand, driving consumer and
customer engagement as we build a strong on and offline brand and businesses.
• Develops clear strategies that drive healthcare professional (HCP) advocacy for our brand
and build strong medical community support through compelling educational content.
• Creation of best-in-class briefs for our agency partners, which results in inspiring creative
work that ensures our brand becomes famous, known, talked about.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure flawless execution of the global strategy.
• Drive collaboration and best practice sharing from global to local and vice-versa.
• Track and measure total brand performance to continuously evolve 1-to-3-year brand plans.
• Global marketing budget responsibility.


Key Responsibilities
• Develop annual brand plans that maximise ROI and enable our brand to own skin protection
in the minds of consumers and HCPs.
• Deliver the global, customer-centric omni-channel marketing strategy to drive the business’s
international growth ambitions and objectives and oversee its successful execution.
• Work with cross-functional global & local teams to develop localised, insight-led, strategic,
and prioritised marketing plans that support local commercial and brand objectives.
• Be accountable for the global media strategy across all channels and regions with a focus on
delivering enhanced performance, impact and spending efficiency per campaign.
• Define the global communications strategy that supports & enhances the brand positioning
and drives engagement with the target audiences.
• Work with global teams and agencies to develop localised communications plans that
support local commercial and brand objectives.
• Lead the Brand Identity team to ensure all packaging and communication activities support
and enhance the brand image and positioning, leveraging our distinctive assets consistently
across all touchpoints; ensure there is one, shared vision of the brand, and empower teams
to bring this to life.
• Engages regions and key markets to build new capabilities, drive launch readiness and
execution excellence
• Unite and align teams, demonstrating strong leadership and a global approach.
• Be accountable for the global Marketing, Communications & Identity budgets.

About you
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably a BA/BS in Marketing or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a top CPG company, with at least 5 years in a senior
marketing role.
• Experience in developing brand growth strategies.
• Experience in creating marketing communication strategies that target both consumer and
HCP audiences.
• Strong agency management experience with the ability to inspire creative and strategic
partners to deliver breakthrough content and brand campaigns that are noticed,
remembered and understood.
• Global experience essential with a focus on North America, the UK, and Europe.
• Strategic thinking, judgement and influencing skills, to inform, persuade and lead across
regions and markets to ensure strong executional focus and consistency.
• Leadership competencies, to set direction, inspire commitment, balance short and long-term
needs and constructively resolve issues.
• Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external partners
• Brand, creative and consumer insight expert: expert at understanding the consumer and
unlocking insights for action.
• A proven leader, with the ability to drive, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing
and highly skilled team.
• Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
