ARE YOU A BRILLIANT SENIOR BRAND MANAGER?
My client is seeking a brilliant Brand Manager to take control of some of their fastest growing, most disruptive brands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating plans that drive top of mind awareness for and win the shopper now of choice.
They will manage budgets, be the point of contact with Brand Principals, and manage various stakeholders to make sure their brands show up in the best possible way in convenience, grocery retail, and foodservice outlets.
This company brands represent move at speed, are disruptive, and always seek to find new opportunities. The ideal candidate is passionate about offering the Irish consumer an alternative to the status quo. They will have demonstrable experience in brand building, and how best to win the shopper at the point of purchase.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with Marketing Manager, build the strategic brand plans for confectionary brands.
Leading role in managing the relationship between Richmond and relevant brand owners, including all aspects of brand consumer marketing plans & financial performance versus budget and contract.
Be the ‘go to’ person in the business, who manages & tracks all aspects of the portfolio of relevant brand’s performance (distribution, rate-of-sale, sales Vs budget, spend Vs budget, SKU performance & opportunities, channel performance & opportunities, brand equity measures, opportunities & threats).
Develop world class consumer and trade marketing plans and execute them brilliantly; work closely with commercial teams to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity.
Management of brand consumer marketing & trade marketing budgets & delivery of all activity within agreed budget
Where necessary, assist Marketing Manager and Head of Department in pitching for new brands to strategically grow and future proof the Richmond business
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ·
Experience in creating and executing brand plans that have delivered demonstrable performance.
Experience in FMCG not essential but desired. ·
Strong consumer knowledge, coupled with clear commercial acumen·
Excellent communicator and team player who sets clear goals, leads by example, and adopts a collaborative approach.
Ability to interact convincingly with internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and build a team to strive for excellence.
Full and clean driving licence.
Ability to work on own initiative, with strong planning and organizational skills
