Brand Manager Jägermeister

 

We are looking for an ambitious & driven Brand Manger to drive forward the Spirits brand agenda in Ireland. The right candidate will be someone who sees limitless potential; learning the rules of their craft before bending them to create things the world has never seen. Managing cross functional relationships within the organisation as well as and liaising with the global brand teams & external agencies, this person will be responsible for building and executing brand strategy in Ireland, creating brand equity and delivering volume targets within brand budgets, by via rate-of-sale, increasing visibility, and executing engaging consumer & trade activations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop world class brand plans to deliver brand objective and drive brand growth. Work closely with commercial teams and Marketing Manager to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity.

  • Management of brand marketing budgets & delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget and achieve volume targets.

  • Effectively manage research, creative, event management and media agencies through on-boarding, clear briefings, feedback, reviews and updates. Track agency performances and brand results for all projects and brand campaigns.

  • Project management of brand campaigns from concept, design to executional excellence across all consumer touchpoints.

  • Influence and educate the sales team on an ongoing basis and develop compelling sales decks with insights & USP’s.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person in the business, who manages & tracks all aspects of the brand’s performance. (Distribution, rate-of-sale, sales Vs budget, spend Vs budget, SKU performance & opportunities).

  • Manage the brand portfolio range, rationalisation and launch of any new innovations and SKUs to the Irish market.

  • Manage the Irish Brand Ambassador to ensure their strategies & plans are aligned with brand plans & ensure they are driving consumer & trade engagement in the most relevant & meaningful way.

  • Brand Analysis – Responsible for monthly & quarterly reports on performance update, track brand launches, promotions and marketing campaigns.

  • Work closely with field sales team to create & track distribution & visibility KPIs along with merchandising guidelines for in- outlet execution.

  • Build collaborative relationships with the global brand team and implement the global brand strategy in a locally relevant way in the Irish market.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1.      Understanding of FMCG Industry (Alcohol Industry experience preferred) and the Irish retail & bar landscape.

2.      5+ years marketing brand management related experience.

3.      Shows strong initiative & drive.

4.      Analytical, strategic & ability to problem-solve.

5.      Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.

6.      Proven ability to turn insights in to action.

7.      Demonstrates an ability to work autonomously.

8.      Strong communication & presentation skills.

9.      Commercially astute.

10.   Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment.

11.   Experienced in Microsoft Office Packages, namely Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
