Key accountabilities include:
Preparation and review of financial, regulatory and management reports relevant to the role
Ensure compliance to controls within the remit of the relevant role, ensuring that operational risk is minimised
Drive continuous improvement across the Financial Control team with a view to improving, automating and eliminating manual adjustments
Participate in projects and initiatives to optimise and streamline processes to deliver efficiencies
Keep up to date on new accounting and regulatory rules and disclosures and the implications on management, financial and regulatory reporting
Experience Required:
Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CFA), with at least 1 year PQE working in a finance or finance reporting role
The ability to analyse and interpret data, to assess its value and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way
Performance management and problem solving experience
Effective core business capabilities including negotiating and influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
